Summer in Pau #45 18 July to 1 August 2026

From 18 July to 1 August 2026, Pau will be alive with music. At the Théâtre de Verdure, and for one day in the Parc Beaumont, the “Été à Pau” festival returns for another free, popular and joyful edition. Rock, blues, pop, rap, reggae, funk, Latin music, electro, French chanson… Here, styles cross, generations meet, evenings stretch out and summer takes centre stage. We look forward to seeing you at this warm and friendly festival, open to all. It’s a great time to share with family, friends and tribe, or simply to enjoy a beautiful summer evening in Pau.

Summer in Pau The big musical event of the summer

L’Été à Pau is more than just a series of concerts. It’s a fixture of the season, a festival rooted in the city, run by the Amis de la Chanson Populaire (ACP), with the support of the City of Pau. Since its inception, the Théâtre de Verdure has played host to artists from near and far, with headliners, newcomers and emerging acts.

A summer rendezvous A must!

You come to listen. To dance. To meet up with friends. To discover an artist before anyone else. To take the kids to enjoy an afternoon in the park. To feel the simple, festive atmosphere that makes summer evenings in Pau so special. And all free of charge, in a great party spirit.

Practicalities

Come early! At the Théâtre de Verdure

The festival is free and the evenings get packed in fast.

Arrive early, especially for the headliners, so you can enjoy the atmosphere, the venue and the first concerts with greater peace of mind.

Find your party According to your wishes

Festive rock, blues, reggae, Latin music, funk, rap… The programme crosses styles.

Choose your evening, and why not let yourself be surprised: that’s the spirit of Summer in Pau!

With the family Block off your evening!

On 22 July, head to the Parc Beaumont for L’Été des mômes, with activities, games, pony rides, face painting, children’s and parents’ yoga, science experiments, a concert and a show for young audiences. A real summer break for the kids, and an easy day out for parents to organise.

Weather forecast To feel at ease

Summer evenings in Pau can be mild and warm… or a little chilly once night falls. Before you set off, take a look at the weather forecast and pack light but smart: a water bottle, cap or hat for when you arrive at the end of the day, and a light jacket for the return journey.

Transport

Coming to the Festival Without looking for a place

What if the evening started on the way? To get to the Théâtre de Verdure without having to turn round to park, take the easy way out and use public transport. It’s simple, practical and the perfect way to make the most of summer in Pau.

By Coxitis
Get off at the Palais des Pyrénées stop. The shuttle bus runs from Monday to Saturday until 8.10pm.

By bike
The nearest cycle station is the Barthou station, in front of the lycée, on the Agnès-Souret side. A good option for getting to the school quietly, especially in the early evening.

By bus
Take line F and get off at Barthou/Beaumont. The line runs every day, with late evening service.

Our advice
Before you leave, check your return timetable. You’ll be able to enjoy the concert to the end, without stress, and you’ll leave as easily as you arrived.
