Every summer in Pau, the great southern family comes together for an unmissable event: Hestiv’Oc. For a few days, this town in the Béarn region comes alive to the sounds and rhythms of the Occitan provinces, transforming its town centre into an open-air stage. Here, the voices and instruments of Occitania, the Basque Country, Catalonia and Gascony come together. A festival bursting with colour, sound and flavour, inviting people to meet, share and celebrate. And this year more than ever, it’s set to be a truly memorable occasion: Hestiv’Oc is celebrating its 21st edition!

For its 21st edition, Hestiv’Oc invites you to join us from 20 to 23 August 2026 for four days of gentle fun and warm hospitality.
On the programme: four days of completely free festivities, featuring around thirty artists and a host of events combining concerts, dances, street performances, theatre, dance and entertainment for the whole family.
The traditional opening Cantèra will kick off the festivities, followed by major musical evenings featuring acts such as Bombes 2 Bal, Lou Seriol, Xiberoots, El Pony Pisador, Raffut, Kumbia Boruka and Maskak.
Exhibitions, talks, open-air cinema, introductions to the Occitan language and dances, shows for young audiences and the Village Gourmand will round off this 21st edition, which celebrates Occitan and Southern cultures.

Polyphonic singing, street performances, traditional dances, lively brass bands, open-air concerts… Hestiv’Oc is a joyful immersion in the cultures of the South. The open-air theatre, Square Georges V, Place Royale and even the café terraces become the vibrant stages for this huge public festival.
You’ll come across a cappella singers, bandas, storytellers in the Occitan language, passionate craftspeople… The festival takes place in the streets, bringing the artists and the public into direct contact with one another.
