Pau Pyrénées Tourisme

The Pau Pyrénées Tourisme shop Take a little bit of Béarn home with you!

A souvenir is even better when it tells a story. At the Tourist Office shop, we select items that are a delight, of course, but which also allow you to extend your stay in Pau and help promote the Béarn region once you’ve returned home.
Our selection showcases designers, craftspeople and businesses from Béarn, France and across Europe, with a focus on supporting local producers wherever possible. Posters, decorative items, stationery, wines and handcrafted goods: so many ways to take a little piece of Pau home with you.

Our commitments

The range Truly exclusive

Are you looking for a souvenir you won’t find just anywhere? That’s exactly the idea.
The shop offers exclusive designs and limited editions, inspired by the identity of Pau, the Béarn region and the unmissable Pic du Midi d’Ossau.

Local know-how And French above all else

Artisans from the Béarn, illustrators from Pau, French companies: we prioritise local and French expertise. 100 per cent Béarn-based collaborations with Éditions Fricker, Carole Paillé, Ohazar, Mathieu Claverie, Memories Metal, Tissage Moutet, the Cave de Jurançon and the Maison des Vins.

Quality At the right price

From small souvenirs costing just a few euros to handcrafted items, the range caters for all budgets. Each product is carefully selected to ensure a varied and affordable range that is in keeping with the destination.

Memories Which promote the destination

Pau, the Pic du Midi d’Ossau, the Pyrenees, Jurançon… Here, the souvenirs truly capture the essence of the region. They allow you to prolong the pleasure of your holiday and share a little of our way of life.

Alongside the shopkeepers of Pau

The shop is not intended to replace local businesses.
On the contrary: its range is intended to complement them, offering specific and sometimes exclusive products.

1. The carafe

Simple, practical and instantly recognisable, it fits easily onto a table once the holidays are over.

Our tip:
Fill it with water, of course. As for Jurançon, we’ve got just the thing in the shop.

Why do we love it?
For its ‘bistrot’ style and its low price of €10 for a 100% French-made product.

2. The ‘Moutet’ tea towel Béarn speciality

Here, we move from memory to genuine Béarn craftsmanship.
Tissage Moutet is a century-old company that weaves in Orthez and holds the ‘Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant’ label.
Its tea towels feature Pau, the Pic du Midi d’Ossau and various symbols of the Béarn region.

The sort of souvenir you buy for your kitchen… and almost hesitate to use because it’s so beautiful.

Why do we love it?
For its local roots and its understated chic.

3. The Pau magnet Not to be missed

Inexpensive, takes up little space in your suitcase, but a firm favourite for the journey home from holiday.
Several designs featuring Pau are available in the range on offer.

It’s the perfect souvenir to give as a gift – the sort you pop into a bag without a second thought and which ends up reminding you of your holiday every time you open the fridge.

Why do we love it?
Because it only takes a few square centimetres to bring back fond memories of Pau.

4. The Bic pen

The famous four-colour pen also takes on a Pau twist.

The shop offers a BIC four-colour pen in the destination’s colours.
A practical, lightweight souvenir that’s bound to bring back a few childhood memories.

Why do we love it?
For its cult status, practicality and quirky charm.

5. The snow globe

Yes, we’re totally embracing the snow globe!
It’s one of those fond, delightfully retro mementos that are hard to resist.

The version available in the shop features the Pau skyline or the famous Poule au Pot. It’s made by the French company Les Éternelles-JLK.

Give it a shake, the snowflakes fall and Pau is blanketed in snow – even in the middle of August. It doesn’t get much more ‘holiday souvenir’ than that.

Why do we love it?
Because it transforms Pau into a little postcard to keep at home or in the office.

And now The choice is yours!

A carafe, tea towel, magnet, pen or snow globe? The hardest part might just be choosing just one.

So before you leave, pop into the shop. You might just find the souvenir you came looking for… or one you hadn’t even thought of.

Among the must-haves in our shop: the mug and magnet featuring the Moorish hunter, Lescar’s iconic figure.
