%C0 In Pau, on the facade of the Saint-Jacques Church, the sound-and-light show *The Fabulous Destiny of Bernadotte* brings the summer evenings to life in the heart of downtown. Between July 16 and August 22, 2026, the show is scheduled from Thursday through Saturday, from 10:00 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.
This free event traces the extraordinary life of Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte, a native of Pau who became King of Sweden and Norway. Images, light, and narration illuminate the church’s stone facade to bring to life an extraordinary chapter of Pau’s history—accessible to everyone, whether with family, friends, or during an evening out on the town.
