Description
Tchi-tchi-tchi! A mysterious sound intrigues Gillou, the tightrope walker and contortionist. He approaches and discovers Toyo. Toyo is a construction pipe—cold, stiff, and hollow. What a find! Coline, the violinist, makes Toyo sing. Gillou tames Toyo. They hit it off immediately, and since Gillou is very, very flexible, he slips inside and settles in, just like a hermit crab. For Gillou, Toyo becomes a shell, a costume, a hat, a tightrope walker’s tower, a periscope, an airplane, a house!
