This concert is, above all, a unique collaboration between a rapper, a pianist, a choir, and an orchestra, led by cellist and conductor Olivier Koundouno. It brings together several musical worlds: rap, gospel, and so-called “classical” music.
Driven by the socially conscious lyrics of the Franco-Congolese rapper Youssoupha, the choir’s voices and the instrumentalists bring to life the original arrangements created especially for the occasion. (...)
