Description
Born in Lyon in 1959, Roger Murano studied at the Paris Conservatory. He became one of the
greatest interpreters of Olivier Messiaen, recording the complete piano works of the composer.
A laureate of the Liszt Competition in Parma and the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, Roger is renowned for his virtuosity, precision, and musical sensitivity. He has performed in the world’s greatest concert halls, and after several years devoted to contemporary music, he is returning to the
Romantic repertoire, notably with the works of Franz Liszt, of which he has recorded
the complete *Years of Pilgrimage* in 2024.
