Description
In the commercial zone of Lescar, at the foot of the medieval town and its Romanesque cathedral, you can enjoy a meal at "Louise".
It's a bistro-style restaurant offering traditional regional cuisine that's simple and good value. The menu features local, gourmet dishes. Products come from Béarn: duck leg confit from Laruns, burgers made with cheese from the Ossau valley, meats and ventrêche from Oloron and trout from the Pyrenees. Dishes are served with fresh French fries, pommes grenailles and seasonal vegetables. For dessert, try the pistachio crème brulée or the caramel fondant. And as for wine, it's organic and from the Jurançonnais vineyards.
