Aurélien Mauplot blends fiction and reality in a dreamlike yet documentary style, focusing on prehistory. His works examine the transmission of images through time. They explore the traces of human activity in caves, the influence of time that has passed before reaching the cavern, and the decorated cave as a place of learning.
