Performance and Meet-and-Greet with Olivier Layus, Basse-Plante, as part of Heritage Days Part Two In Part One, back in June, the artist took us through his process of creating plant installations that echoed the ever-changing garden at Basse-Plante. Almost four months later, what has become of those seeds scattered throughout the garden? The shimmering willow has grown, and the spheres open up to reveal another landscape… As both a blacksmith and a gardener, the artist invents and forges on-site, just for you, structures to smell, touch, and listen to.
