Description
Every year in France, an average of 24,000 hectares of natural, agricultural and forested land have been artificialised over the last decade. This urban sprawl has very real consequences: it undermines our ability to produce food locally, damages ecosystems, lengthens daily commutes and puts a strain on household budgets.
In this exhibition, we invite you to take a fresh look at land use planning. Limiting the artificialization of land is not a constraint, but a real opportunity to improve our quality of life, preserve landscapes and protect biodiversity.
The exhibition highlights local solutions that are already in use, and ways of building and developing that are similar to our own: towns and villages that are pleasant to live in, and respectful of their environment
