Description
This concert, which brings together two opera singers and a pianist, features a medley of opera arias. It is conceived as a two-act performance, telling a love story that spans several centuries and languages, and weaves through many different narratives. The program weaves together works by Tchaikovsky, Offenbach, and Rossini—not to mention Mozart and Monteverdi—to explore love, passion, and desire, as well as dreams, sisterhood, and, of course, tragedy.
In these great operas, love is the fantasy, and music is the language!
