The sound is massive and raw, recorded live in January 2025. Convulsif consists of a (sinister) bass, (diabolical) drums, a (vicious) bass clarinet, and a (ferocious) violin. Don’t let your little sister’s violin lessons fool you: classical instruments have a sinister side, and this band is proof of that. Convulsif is dark and surprisingly addictive.
