Alain Cadeillan, known as Kachtoun—founder of the legendary band Perlinpinpin F%F2lc and creator of the escoubophone, the clarinoise, and the polychloride vinylophone—invites you to this workshop to %E0 explore the world of sound in a new way by making your own instruments %E0 from recycled materials. %C0 Through play, experimentation, and creativity, everyone%B7 will discover the fundamental principles of sound production—vibration, resonance, pitch—all while giving a second life to materials that might otherwise have ended up in the trash. Wind instruments offered: - flutes (harmonic, nasal, 3-hole...), - membrane-reed clarinet, - straw reeds, - etc. There are no prerequisites for participating other than being able to use your 10 fingers and bringing tape, scissors, utility knives, or even pipes if you have them!
