Pre-1948 architecture, designed in close harmony with its surroundings, adapts to climatic and geographic conditions, the availability of local materials, while embodying the identity of a region and the changes in rural society of its time. Built using reusable materials and traditional craftsmanship, it relies on a subtle and fragile balance that must be preserved, particularly during its rehabilitation. This participatory workshop, led by C.A.U.E. 64, will explore the specific characteristics of historic buildings and their renovation in a simple, eco-friendly manner that respects their unique features.
