1380 In 1380, Gaston Fébus, fleeing his castle in Orthez following a terrible family tragedy, settled in Pau in the veritable fortress that he had completely renovated. The tour, covering both the interior and exterior, will focus on this ambitious architectural and political project, the context of a turbulent world, and the well-known and lesser-known aspects of this great and singular lord throughout the tour.
