Description
%C0 In Pau, at the foot of the castle and in the historic center, this weekend takes you on a journey through two major periods in the history of Béarn: the era of Gaston Fébus, a medieval prince, followed by that of Henry IV, who was born in Pau.
On Friday, the atmosphere takes on a medieval feel with a village, costumes, archers, horsemen, and street performers. On Saturday and Sunday, Henry IV takes center stage amid parades, shows, concerts, dances, and feasts. A designers’ market, demonstrations, jugglers, and sheepdogs round out this lively, family-friendly, and welcoming event, blending local history with the joy of celebration.
