Nicknamed the "Little Prince of 6-string bebop", Gilad has a dozen albums to his credit! While his playing is unmistakable, he never ceases to amaze with his freshness and ability to renew himself over the years. Listening to him, one thinks of Bill Frisell for abstraction, Pat Metheny for atmospherics, Larry Coryell for reminiscences of jazz fusion, not forgetting his influences, including John Scofield. Talking about Gilad?s talent is dizzying: the excellence of his compositions and the virtuosity of his interpretations. One of the most inventive musicians of his time, his music is voluble and accessible to all audiences.
