Punchy, colorful, rhythmic, and pop—in the popular sense. That’s the art of Tonton Olive. These roughly 400 paintings are a tribute and inventory of popular culture from the last 60 years, inspired by cinema, advertising, video games, TV series, variety shows, rock, games, and advertising? No one knows all the characters, but everyone can enjoy seeing their heroes again. A great time for everyone, on view July 6–13 at the Carnot Passage in Pau.
