Universitätsmusik Göttingen (Germany) presents Max Bruch?s oratorio "Das Lied von der Glocke", inspired by Friedrich Schiller?s famous poem. The work combines choir, soloists and orchestra in a musical reflection on human life. It will be performed by a choir of 65 singers and an orchestra of 50 musicians, students of the Georg-August University of Göttingen, in collaboration with the Orchestre de l'Université de Pau. The concert is part of a Franco-German cooperation project with the City of Pau, the Heinrich Mann Institute and the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour, as part of the twinning arrangement between Göttingen and Pau.
