Near Pau, on the outskirts of the medieval town of Lescar, in a large commercial zone with shops selling famous brands. At a stone's throw from the shops, the Bistro des Oliviers offers a welcome break. It is a small restaurant, serving traditional cuisine with Mediterranean flavours. There's the choice of a dining room with its Provençale decor or a terrace on fine days. A Lescar favourite for many years, the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, serving reasonably priced dishes. The service is quick and the atmosphere friendly. It's on a quiet little back road, with parking available.
