Kids will love it! Sports, games and activities

1. Spend yourself

  • For stuntmen’s apprentices: Positive Park (Trampoline Park, Ninja Warrior Park, Kids Park and Laser Game), a real romp with modules, Dunk Zone lanes, combat beam or Jump Academy, a trampoline park and 12 other activities, including a mega ramp and a virtual reality area.
  • Climbing the walls: Bêta-Bloc and its 630 m2 of climbing surface, with or without rope and for all ages. We’ve even seen parents trying it out!
  • For adventure: Tèrra Aventura in Pau, Lescar and Bosdarros. A pair of sneakers, a smartphone and off you go! A free, life-size treasure hunt based on enigmas, ideal for discovering things while having fun.

2. All on the water

  • The Parc Aquasports des Eaux-vives in Pau offers a full range of water sports (rafting, kayaking, hydrospeed tubbing or standup paddle). You don’t need any equipment, just your swimsuit and towel. And best of all, it’s just a stone’s throw from the town center, in the railway station district.
  • At the Pont d’Espagne whitewater base, the Pau Canoë Kayak Club Universitaire offers two different options: self-guided rental or a descent with an instructor.
  • At Lac d’Aressy, navigation is free after registration on pau.fr. Wherever you go, you’ll be sure to have fun!

4. When it rains... or doesn't!

And yes, sometimes it rains in Pau, so we come up with ideas! But it also works on hot days…

5. Nature escape

Addicted to branches

In Pau and Bosdarros, the Forêt des Vert’tiges and AventureParc, open during the summer months, offer a range of challenging tree courses. For young and old alike, accompanied by parents.

A place for animals

  • In Lescar, Exotic Park: Europe’s largest anthill of leaf-cutting ants, a hundred species of reptiles, birds and other mammals, including the Bennett’s Wallaby and the White-tufted Ouistiti. What if you were to discover the profession of animal caretaker?
At the foot of the Pyrenees, at theLo Casau equestrian farm, Anne-Flore will take you on a horseback ride in the heart of nature, according to the age and level of the rider.
