The Jurançon terrace #4 Saturday, April 26, 2025

Come and meet the independent Jurançon winegrowers in downtown Pau. This festive day is an opportunity to taste “l’Or du Béarn”, the dry or sweet white wine that is an integral part of our Béarn identity. It’s also an opportunity to talk with winegrowers who share their passion for this terroir. Far from being a day reserved exclusively for wine lovers, this event is open to all to (re)discover this exceptional product! Join us and “intoxicate” yourself with the Béarnaise atmosphere.

Celebrating jurançon! (In moderation)

Thirty independent winegrowers will be on hand to share their love of their work, offer advice and let you taste our must-taste“wine of kings, king of wines“: Jurançon, made from the Petit and Gros Manseng grapes that flourish on the hillsides south of Pau.

Conviviality (Without moderation)

Take part in the Jurançon terrace and enjoy the idyllic setting, glass in hand! This authentic moment of conviviality is to be shared with friends or lovers.

Our local producers will delight your taste buds with their gourmet products, including cheeses, charcuterie and much more… As night falls, round off your day in style with a festive DJ party.

Royal christening

Nouste Enric”, our good King Henri IV, was baptized by his grandfather Henri II of Navarre.

Local legend has it that the latter rubbed his lips with a clove of garlic, which the baby sucked greedily, before presenting him with Jurançon wine from his cup.

This is still known today as the traditional Béarn baptism!

The archive box

Every year, the independent winegrowers take pleasure in creating a new poster for this Jurançon festival.

So, as we’re big fans of this springtime event, we’re sharing with you some of the pretty productions from previous editions.
