Pau Pyrenees, veggie options 10 restaurants with great vegetarian options

Vegetable plates To enjoy

In Pau Pyrénées, it’s easy to find good vegetarian options in restaurants. Although 100% vegetarian restaurants are still rare, many establishments now offer a range of vegetarian dishes, prepared with care and delicacy: bowls, ramen, veggie lasagne, vegetable platters, etc. Depending on the menu, some restaurants also offer vegan or gluten-free alternatives, or can adapt a dish if you have allergies (don’t hesitate to ask on the spot). Discover our selection of 10 restaurants where you can enjoy a vegetarian meal, either occasionally or on a daily basis, and choose according to your mood at the time.

1. Suzani Creative veggie cuisine, weekly changing menu

Suzani puts vegan in the spotlight with a cuisine that is 90% vegetarian, gourmet and full of ideas. The team can adapt certain dishes to vegan versions and regularly offers gluten-free options (on request).
The menu changes every week, with new starters and signature dishes: veggie ramen, spinach and shiitake lasagne, black rice with satay sauce, pumpkin tagliatelle… Not forgetting the veggie bowls of the moment, combining vegetables and cooked cereals.

2. Restaurant Paute Local bistronomy with a focus on plants

Without being a 100% vegetarian restaurant, Paute is genuinely sensitive to the plant world: each menu includes a vegetarian starter and main course. The ingredients are selected from local producers, who use sustainable and natural farming methods. An ideal place to indulge in a blend of local produce and plant-based creativity
