Folk dances are booming in Aragon, our cross-border neighbor.
Jesús Rubio Abella, musician and teacher of traditional dances at the Escuela Municipal de Música y Danza de Zaragoza, will introduce us to them.
What are baile, danza and dance? The different types of Aragonese dances: game dances, partner dances, ritual dances, street performances...
He will illustrate his remarks with his experience of collecting and recreating lost and found dances.
This presentation will be followed by an Aragonese dance workshop on Saturday March 7, at La Ciutat, Pau.
