Avenue de la Résistance, 64000 Pau
A park that boasts centuries-old trees, including cedars of Lebanon, lawns, a playground and a children's merry-go-round.

It is located not far from the Pau exhibition centre.

In the heart of the park, Villa Lawrance was built in the Flemish and Germanic styles by the Schlumberger family from the Alsace region.

In 1893, the Villa became the property of the Lawrance family who already had a luxurious residence in the city

at the present-day premises of the Bank of France.

It was purchased by the City of Pau and for a long time housed the Presidency of the University.

Since 2002, it has been the headquarters of the English Circle, which houses its collections there.

Villa Lawrance is also the home of the Museum of the Resistance, open on Wednesday afternoons.
