From Pau to Lourdes, the route continues up the Gave de Pau, from the Pyrénées-Atlantiques province to the gates of the Hautes-Pyrénées, or from Béarn to Bigorre. Leaving the Pau conurbation is very comfortable, because you will start by strolling about ten kilometers in the countryside along the river, on paths dedicated to walking and cycling.
