In The Heights? Lin-Manuel Miranda?s first opus in a new version, for the first time in France? and it?s in Pau! This isn't just a musical. It's a challenge and a feat that high-school students from the music sections of the Jules Supervielle and Louis Barthou lycées in Oloron-Ste-Marie and Pau respectively are preparing to take up. In The Heights, Lin-Manuel Miranda?s masterly work, will be performed for the first time at Pau?s Zénith in a trilingual version (French, English, Spanish), a true musical and human tour de force. In The Heights is a complex work, full of emotion and rhythm. These young artists will have to cope with sophisticated musical arrangements, frenzied choreography and the show's themes, which deal with the realities of life in a working-class New York neighborhood.
