Theater / Alone on stage from age 12
A cell in a maximum-security prison. A woman, alone but haunted by her life and her memories. A window as her only horizon.
An almost historical monologue, this play transports us to Germany in the late 70s, at a time when violence was being organized against the system deemed imperialist. Maria experienced this page of history through her own personal, intimate story. If Maria is in prison today, it's because she was one of the masterminds behind the Section Rouge Combattante, a dying far-left terrorist movement. Before it's too late, she addresses her daughter in a final speech, through the walls of her cell and the eyes of the audience. A journey through time and intimacy, through hope and suffering, between reason and madness.
