« ANIMA’L » peintures de Mumuzepaint et Nina Beddar

The ANIMA?L exhibition probes the mysteries of the animal kingdom. United by a shared love of animals, the 2 artists look at them with empathy that shines through in their paintings, where imagination and beauty rub shoulders with the delicacy of line and color. Mumuzepaint, independent artist-author, painter-illustrator-screenwriter, draws her inspiration from the wild world she discovered as a child; barefoot in the grass. In her painting, she blends the surrealism she admires in Dali, with the figurative animal art she finds in Rosa Bonheur. Nina Beddar, a visual artist, experiments with a variety of media, with a predilection for painting. Her issues are varied, but one theme recurs. Fascinated by the animal kingdom, animals populate her paintings as a way of thinking with them during the creative process.
