This 15-hectare lake, the result of a former alluvial mining operation, is located to the south-east of the city of Pau.
This area is destined to become the new realm of calm water activities in the greater Pau area. The challenge is to preserve this natural site, bordered by classified wooded areas, Natura 2000 areas and flood zones, by consolidating its vocation as a place for families to stroll and breathe. It is an extension of the Urban Nature Park. As such, the summary and integrated development project comprises: the installation of a pontoon accessible to PRMs and reserved for the public under agreement with the Communauté d?Agglomération, the development of the area around the boat launch and a technical turning area for long vehicles, and the creation of a natural parking area set back from the lake.
