I Muvrini is a diamond in the rough. An emblematic group of Corsican music, they have not only helped popularize this ancestral musical form, but have also taken it beyond the island?s borders. By mixing and integrating modern sounds with traditional polyphony, and sometimes introducing contemporary instruments, they have become the bearers of a vibrant, dynamic traditional culture that has naturally found its place in world music.
