Rita Rita (trance ball)
For the past ten years or so, Rita Macedo, Jaime Chao, Brice Matha and Louis Lubat have been sharing the road as part of the Grand Bal du parti Collectif. They decided to confront Rita?s repertoire and Bahian culture, to take her off the beaten track. An original instrumentarium with two voices, an accordion, a modified saxophone and two drums! From Nordestain forró to trance, a meeting between the power of Rita's traditions and the improvisational madness of Uzest.
Le BO vélo de Babel by André Minvielle (vocal'chimiste recital)
Bernard Lubat?s eternal accomplice stretches the threads between chanson and jazz, scat and tchatche, blues and musette, rap and traditional music, around a central axis: orality, the musicality of ancient and new languages and idioms.
