B I S O, meaning "We as an ensemble", is the project of prolific drummer Chacha Angela. He develops a singular musical universe, nourished by his Congolese roots and enriched by jazz, pop, funk, gospel and rock influences.
Chacha sings in Lingala, his mother tongue, and also plays the balafon, an emblematic West African instrument.
On his debut EP, Respect Africa, Chacha celebrates the blending of African and Western music. An album he invites us to discover on stage, surrounded by his talented musicians and surprise guests.
